Kids Ministry Opportunities
Kids Church and Nursery Sundays at 10:30am.
At Big Spring Heights, kids aren’t just the future of the church—they’re a vital part of it right now!
During Kids Church, children get to worship, learn, and grow in their faith at a level that’s engaging and fun. Every week includes creative Bible lessons, exciting games, and meaningful opportunities to build friendships. Our amazing volunteers have all the proper clearances and, most importantly, a genuine love for children.
Our nursery is a safe, clean, and welcoming space where babies and toddlers are lovingly cared for while parents enjoy the service with peace of mind.
Bluebelles Girls Ministry for Grades 1-5 meet every other Wednesday, from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the lower level of the church. A brand-new ministry where faith, fun, and friendships bloom! Girls will grow spiritually, develop skills, discover their gifts, and learn to serve—all in a loving, safe space.

Special Events for Families
We love serving kids and families in our church and community! Each year, we partner with local churches to host big family events like our Easter Egg Hunt, Back-to-School Bash, and Summer Faith & Fun Days. These events are packed with food, games, activities, characters, prizes, and free services—all designed to show God’s love in practical ways.
What is Summer Faith and Fun Days?
Summer Faith & Fun Days is a special 8–9 week program that brings a Vacation Bible School experience to the Newville Community Park every Friday during summer break. Kids enjoy high-energy songs, Bible lessons, games, crafts, and activities—and every child receives a free lunch.

The Truth Youth Ministry
Youth Group, Sundays, 5:00pm-6:30pm.
The Truth Youth
Our teenagers aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they are the church of today! At Big Spring Heights, we create opportunities for students to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and have a lot of fun along the way. From regular activities and hangouts to powerful experiences like Winterfest and Youth Camp, our youth ministry is all about connection, discipleship, and life-changing encounters with God.
Our purpose is clear: to raise up students who will stand firm on the Word of God. Scripture is not just one option among many “truths” our culture promotes—it is the unshakable, absolute truth that leads to life. God’s Word is the anchor we live by, the standard we hold to, and the source of true freedom.

Here, students are encouraged to live boldly, love deeply, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Adult Ministry
Wednesday Night Discipleship
Every Wednesday from 6:30–7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall, adults gather for a relaxed time of teaching and discussion. Classes vary in style—topical studies, verse-by-verse exposition, video-driven lessons, and Bible character studies—all designed to help you grow deeper in faith and knowledge of God’s Word.
S.I.S.T.E.R.S. Women’s Ministry
Our ladies’ ministry creates space for connection, encouragement, and fun! Whether it’s a paint night, campfire, breakfast, or another special activity, women of all ages find support and friendship while growing in their walk with Christ.
Men’s Ministry
Our men meet monthly for breakfast or lunch, enjoying food, fellowship, a short devotional, and meaningful conversation.
